The Album was called : " 5 C Legend " Duece is a pioneer in the West Coast Gangsta Rap sound and it feels great to listen to this Kingpen Again ! 5 C Legend is Album # 29 from Downlow Records !!
The First Single from 5 C Legend is " Me and My Playaz " featuring Step Daddy J . Great West Coast Beat and Top Notch Lyrics . Duece is back on top of the rap game in 2010 !!! Such an inticpated comeback .
Well this was the warmest Winter of all time 2009-2010 . And we deserved it after 2 straight cold winters . This winter brought Step Daddy J back to his love of writing albums and releasing them . What a cool time , I'll never forget the winter of 2009-2010 !!
Step Daddy J is gonna be out of commission for a while . Tha J Child will be gone for about a year , so check out his 2 new albums Croatian Sensation and Mamma's Bad Boy that Step Daddy J released before he went away .

Downlow Records is officially back after a 2 n half year hiatus with J The Rippa's New Album Being Released Today !! That's right , today Thursday December.27'2007 " Richtown Mentality "is being released !! This is the second album from J The Rippa who released his self-entitled debut " J The Rippa " back in 2002 , more than 5 years ago .
Richtown Mentality has 11 songs and it's $ 10 !! Buy it now ! Peter Black , Duece , Medicine Man and Jaden Jugovic are featured . This is a hella tight album and the first album from Downlow Records in 2 n half years . The wait is over , album Number 25 from Downlow Records is here !!!

Downlow Records is an independent Record Company From Richmond B.C.
Started up in 2000 By Dan Foley , Downlow Records brought originality to the music game . Dan thought rap music was getting to poppy at the time and needed to stay true to it's streets roots more . So Dan Foley Created Downlow Records in 2000 with " Richtown Eastsider " being the first album of the company's history . That album was composed by the one and only Duece .
Dueces debut album " Richtown Eastsider " was a gangsta album straight from the heart . " Heaven or Hell " was Duece's 2 nd album which features one of the greatest rap songs in Richmond history " Eastside Creepen " . I love that song and can always listen to it , no matteer what year it is . And then he released his 3 rd album " Pray 4 A Playa " which had the huge hit " Shycko Sh(t " . Then Crazy K released his classic classic debut album called " Playaz Life " This album was a huge hit and had 3 big hits on it " Freak Tonight " , " Richtown's Loadin Um Up " and " Jus Anotha Day " . I love this album man !!
Downlow Records had 4 albums released in 2000 , their first 4 .
" Double Duece " was released in 2001 . It was Duece's 4 th album and the first and only Double album from Downlow Records . The Double C.D. was full of hits and also saw Step Daddy J make his first appearance on Downlow Records .
Duece's 5 th album later came out called " Final Destination " . Then Duece's 6 th solo came called " Downlow 4 Life " . Later on Crazy K came out with his 2 nd album called " Nation Wide Threat " . The last Downlow album for 2001 was a compilation album called : " History Of Playaz " . Downlow Records had 5 albums released in 2001 .
Real R.I.C.G'z , a group compised of Crazy k and Duece , started 2002 off for Downlow . It was a real tight album !! Crazy K then came out with his 3 rd album called " Welcome To My World " . Then another tight album came out 4 Downlow , it was Duece's 7 th solo release called " Year Of The Duece " . Later on came the hit compilation album called " The Hatalation " where Duece and his homiez where hating on everyone . In one classic skit , Duece and Mr. Locko invade Priemere Gordon Campbell's house . Man , it's funny !! Then EM came out with the tight lacin' album called " Str8 From The Rich " Later on J Da Ripper came out with his debut album " J Da Ripper " It was a bumpen classic ! Duece's 8 th album " Richtown Eastsider 2002 " came out to end the great year of 2002 . Downlow Records had 7 album released in 2002 !

Real R.I.C.G'z came out with their 2 nd album : " Kingpenz " in 2003 . Another chartopper , there was a lot of cool tracks in this album . Then EM came out with their 2 nd album too called " EM 4 Life " It was another smash hit . Duece's 9 th album came out " 5 C Made " and it was one of his best offerings ! Mr Locko came out with his only album called " Mr . Locko " It was refreshingly dope ! I love listening to this album !
Downlow had 4 albums released in 2003 .
Crazy K came out with his 4 th album in 2004 called " Crazy Wit My Mask On " . Then EM released their 3 rd album on Downlow called " Who We Be " . It was another tight lacin album from EM ! Then D.J. Destruction came out with his debut album called " The Sicccnesss " . These where the 3 albums that where released on Downlow Records in 2004 .
In 2005 Duece's 10 th Downlow Album ( 11 th solo ) was called " Deeper Than Blood " It was a cool album , with great songs . It was Duece's 11 th solo as his 10 th album ( Duece's 1 st Jugovich Records Album ) " Eastside Creepin " came out in 2004 under Jugovich Records . The Deeper Than Blood album would be the last from Downlow for 2 n half years .
2005 had 1 album released only . There was no albums released in 2006 from Downlow .
J Da Rippa's 2 nd album " Richtown Mentality " came out in late 2007 . It was a good comeback for Downlow Records as J Da Rippa was spitting some evil fire on this album !!

Duece is a legend in the Richmond B.C. rap game . His freestyles are all wicked and nobody can freestyle off the dome like him when Duece gets into his danger zone .
Duece is from tha 5 C . The 5 being No.5 Road in Richmond and the C being Cambie Road .
Downlow Records brought the streets back to the rap game with Duece's rugged tough street poetry . Downlow Records is definatly not no poppy rap . Downlow Is Hardcore Horror Rap . Gruesome at times , this is how life in the streets really is !

Downlow Records had it's first 3 albums all done by Duece . Then album Number 4 was done by Crazy K . This album was called Playaz Life and it became a huge album very popular with everyone . Playaz Life is regarded as the best Album on the Current 24 Album Downlow Record Roster History .
Playaz Life was Produced By Duece and Duece is on pretty much every song .
Crazy K is from the West Richmond Centre . Originally from Winnipeg , Crazy came to tha Richtown as a teenager in the early 90's and always enjoyed rap music . After befriending Duece in the late 90's , Crazy Started writing Lyrics and eventually rapping .
Crazy K went on to make 4 albums on Downlow Records but Playaz Life is the album that he will be remembered forever on .
Duece hooked up with Jugovich Records often and frequently starting in 2001 as well as Step Daddy J hooked up with Downlow Records just as often . The 2 made 3 albums on Downlow Records . These albums went by the artists name of EM Presents and they where all tight . Str8ght From The Rich , Who We Be and EM 4 Life all a joy to listen to . Over on Jugovich Records , Duece and Step Daddy J have 7 albums together as the rap group European Mafia .
Duece and Crazky K made 2 albums together and there group was called Real R-I-C-G'z . There music was straight siccc !! D.J. Destruction , J Da Rippa and Mr. Locko where the other rappers on Downlow Records and they released 1 album each on Downlow .
